What this website collects

Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type into. This site carries no enquiry form, no live chat, no newsletter signup and no login. It sets no cookies of its own.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google and Google therefore sees the request, including your IP address. No other third-party script runs on these pages. In particular, the reviews on this site are published as plain HTML rather than through a review widget, so no review platform script loads or tracks you here.

Server logs

The hosting provider keeps standard access logs: IP address, time, page requested, referrer and browser user agent. They exist to keep the site up and to deal with abuse, and they are not used to build a profile of you.

When you ring us

A phone call is where personal details actually change hands. To book a visit we need a name, an address or postcode, a contact number and a description of the problem. We use it to attend, to carry out the work, to invoice, and to write the report.

Where you are claiming on insurance, the report and its photographs may be shared with your insurer or loss adjuster at your request, and with a water company where the investigation concerns their pipework. Records are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for tax, insurance and warranty purposes.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased where we are not required to keep it, and object to particular uses of it. Ring 0333 567 2635 and ask, or write to the registered office above.
